Singularity

Pensa ad un oggetto durevole nel tempo, diciamo un coltello istoriato forgiato da un fabbro in Irlanda nel 1300. Ora immagina che questo oggetto sia arrivato fino ai giorni nostri, in mano ad un collezionista australiano oppure nella vetrina di un robivecchi di Buenos Aires. Se potesse parlare quante storie potrebbe raccontare? Nelle mani di chi è passato nel corso dei secoli? Sarà mai stato impugnato per uccidere? Che significato hanno le figure che lo adornano? Perché è rimasto nascosto per anni e anni? Questo è il concetto alla base del gioco: un elemento, la singolarità, sempre presente in tutte le parti della storia che ci apprestiamo a raccontare e attorno al quale si muoveranno gli eventi. Non c'è competizione ma collaborazione, al termine della partita avrete la soddisfazione di aver creato qualcosa tutti assieme e di aver portarto ordine al chaos, o magari il contrario…

Think about an object that will last over time, let's say a carved knife forged by a blacksmith in Ireland in 1300 a.d. Now imagine that this object is today in the hands of an Australian collector or in the window of a Buenos Aires junk shop. If it could speak how many stories could it tell? In whose hands has it been for centuries? Was it ever used to kill? What is the meaning of the figures which adorn it? Why has it been hidden for years?  This is the concept behind the game: an element, the singularity, always present in all parts of the story that we are about to tell and around which events will move. There is no competition but collaboration, at the end of the game you will feel rewarded for having created a fun story and bringing order into chaos, or the other way around…
